I for one wont be turning my back on Halifax RLFC, i am angry about the whole process and how the RFL have there own agenda, however it is a us against them now in my eyes, we dont just lay down, or walk away. We stand up and be counted, its times like these that we need to stick together and all pull in the same direction.
We come out in more numbers and begin to fight back, we make our club even stronger, they want clubs like our to wilt away. Lets not give them the satisfaction of this happening. Today would have been so much easier for them if they were us still biting at the heels, we make there life uncomfortable, i like that.
I know at this moment in time things are very raw and we have knee jerk reactions, but walking away is not the answer. We ask ourselves whats the point with it anymore, when things like this happen. Well the point is its still your club and your team, who you support through thick and thin. Its not the number of times you get knocked down its the amount of times you are willing to get back up that makes you. Lets get back on our feet, dust ourselves down and stick it to them in the only way we know now.

Numbers, this is the big problem, We can't get them, Not pesamistic, Realistic, We had the rallying cry to get people fill in the SL bid Petition, Went stale and dead at about 3000, Crowds, we cant get above 2500 even when winning things every season, Tony Abbott, Come hell or highwater i will get them up to 10,000, if anything they are going down.

Collaboration between clubs and different thinking
turining back on the club would potentially kill us off . Look how Oldham went from a club of a stable fan base as little as 10 years ago to struggling to get 500-600 now. We could quite easily fall away completey if our regulars stop going as we do have a solid 1600 would could easily be down to less than 1000 if we did not stick with them.

I agree with this 100% why lie down and take this garbage off `em and why did they just not say Crusaders could not have a place and were not good enough instead of telling them to withdraw. It stinks to high heaven and we should be as vocal as we can about it.Back your club as it has never been more important to do so.

I totally agree. In spite of us getting a franchise today, I totally disagree with franchising. I would be happy to see the back of it and see The Wakey's and Faxes of the league win their right to be there on the pitch, as a sport should decide such matters. Only the priveleged few clubs benefit from this system; and I mean the top5. The rest suffer or at serious risk of suffering. Its time we all got together and said no to this IMO
